Hi! I'm Shannon

I am an AudHD woman, mother, a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and a Culinary Nutrition Expert who has spent my life learning about the interplay of body and brain and how to read their signals and symptoms as important information to shape our unique care needs.  

The nurturing, mothering, community-care oriented part of humanity is so needed in our world today. When neurodivergent women live these roles daily, we can easily get lost in them; confusing our value with what we do and how much or how well we do it. When we choose to get to know and value ourselves; our unique bodies, brains, needs, limitations, values, skills, passions, and our dreams, we are able to create a more creative and sustainable balance in our lives. We can feel more fulfilled, more supported, and have more capacity for joy, while we care for those around us in a much more sustainable way.

When we choose to see the way we naturally show up in the world as an essential, interdependent, and valuable part of the interconnected web of humanity around us, shame and old programming starts to fall away. Many of us needed to mask and conform in many ways that burnt us out when we were younger, it’s how we learned to survive, but now it is time to learn to thrive as the complex, full-dimensional beings we are.

As your Health Coach, I will bring my years of health and coaching experience and help you to explore your health, which is actually a sum of its parts; the physical, mental, emotional, occupational, spiritual, financial, and communal aspects of your life. I will support you as you discern your needs and values and as you experiment with lifestyle changes that better support your unique ADHD/ AuDHD body and brain.

These are the weekly coaching calls where you will see real change happen. We will do them via phone, video chat, or in-person meetings depending on where you are located. This is where the true growth happens, in a coaching relationship where you are seen, heard and supported as you experiment with the lifestyle changes, goals, and dreams that you have always wanted to achieve.

          As a Certified Culinary Nutrition Expert, I love to experiment with recipe creation. Sensitive brains and bodies often go together, and part of ADHD/ AuDHD support is learning what foods support you. The recipes I share are all dairy free and most have gluten free options. (gluten and dairy are two of the most common inflammatory food groups)
